In 1982 Wayne gretzky, (already the Great One), was a guest on the Paul Anka show. He sang, "The Devil Came Down to Georgia" . As well, Wayne sang a country song with Tanya Tucker in that same era, (1982). He is clad in his Cowboy clothes, and once owned a clothing store called "The Corrall". Wayne also made a guest appearance in, "The Young and the Restless", in the 80's. He played a mobster character and not all that well. It has often been said that if Wayne had to act or sing for his supper, he would starve.

Fast forward 21 years to November 22, 2003. Wayne's daughter Paulina Gretzky sang, "I Will remember You", at the Heritage Classic. The big difference between them is that Paulina can sing like a bird and stole the show. As well, she is a dead ringer for her beautiful actress mother janet Jones-gretzky. No offense to Wayne, but no contest either.
